Josie's Lonely Hearts Club
A semi-improvised audio drama set in the studio of New Mexico’s 2nd-best relationship call-in show. On-air, Josie Heller mends the broken hearts of a weekly collection of hilarious improvisers. Off-air, listeners get to eavesdrop on the life of Josie’s secret identity: timid, unassuming Joanne Holtzinger. Danielle features as various guests calling in with wacky relationship problems -- Josie never knows what's coming next! Produced by the Good Story Guild.
About Me
Classics + Comedy
Danielle is an NYC-based artist with a particular passion for Shakespeare and all things hilarious. She is the co-host of WHAT YOU WILL, a comedic podcast about Shakespeare, and has been a member of the sketch-and-musical troupe Broad Comedy for over 10 years. She has done over 1000 performances in the Off-Broadway hit DRUNK SHAKESPEARE and is a board member of Fat Knight Theatre. She holds a BFA from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and UCB Improv training (as well as Comedy Sportz). When she isn't cooking up jokes or analyzing the implications of a 400-year-old comma, you can find her writing original songs, playing Dungeons and Dragons, or snuggling her little black cat.
